Opus 99 is a pop-punk/alternative rock band based out of Portsmouth, Virginia. Opus 99 consists of three friends. Sammy Sinn, often referred to simply as Sinn, is the lead vocalist and guitar player. He is also known as The Wolf. On lead bass and vocals, is the master of funk&punk himself, Blue Rivers. And lastly, we have the king of crash, Genghis Twan on drums and vocals. Their influences come from many different artists such as Blink 182, Green Day and Alkaline Trio. To classify them as a pop punk band or alternative rock band is almost an understatement. Their sound is so vast, from grungy Nirvana like tunes such as "All The Fear", to underdog anthems like "Last Place Dork Face". Every song seems to tell a vivid story. Stories of love, lost love, breaking away from the normalcy of modern society and partying! Opus 99 is a dynamic trio who love music and having fun and making jokes (usually about each other!). Opus 99 will rock your socks off into the next galaxy!
