My name is Frances Stone, a woman and mother in long term recovery from addiction, mental illness, trauma and poverty. I have hosted a radio show, founded a nonprofit, advocated for change and been an Addictions Counsellor in the DTES.
I am not perfect. I AM passionate about recovery. My mission is to create a YouTube platform to share insights, information & inspiration about addiction recovery to help others recover in ALL areas of life. My hope is to expand this platform into podcasting and publishing to share our recovery stories in the collective effort too reclaim our human rights, dignity and freedom from stigma and shame.
