The project supports USAID’s missions, bureaus, and independent offices to make evidence-based decisions. Serving as a strategic resource to the Agency, RTAC leverages the scientific expertise of academic researchers to provide rapid and on-demand technical assistance. Work under this project cuts across development topics including global health; agriculture and food security; economic growth and trade; democracy, human rights and governance; education; water and sanitation; and environment and global climate change. As a key project partner, PRB provides leadership on strategic communications, research utilization, and capacity building. We work closely with USAID-funded researchers to develop tailored research-to-action plans to help ensure that their research answers the right questions, reaches the right audiences, and informs decisionmaking.
