However, his relax time becomes jinxed as the Time Eater returns yet again, and bigger yet deadlier than ever, as it's seen to be going even further beyond than last time. Due to its enhanced godlike powers of destruction, Classic Sonic ends up getting transported to White Space once more. Meanwhile in the Present, Sonic's birthday rolls around where each and every one of his friends decide to plan something even bigger than last time. Now instead of a park, the big birthday bash is now being hosted at Mega Arcade, which just opened this month. As Sonic arrives at the celebration, he becomes filled with surprise and happiness from seeing many Arcade Games, Anamatronics that used to be Badniks, but are now Rockstar Robots that are full of life and ready to party 24/7, and many other activities ranging from indoors to outdoors, from Bumper Car Races, A Rope Course full of fun and challenges, Bowling Alleys, and much more! As Sonic and co. get settled in with having fun and celebrating another birthday for a special Blue Blur, the Time Eater arrives to their world and rips the roof of the arcade clean off, leaving everyone in panic and alert. Sonic's friends all see this and decide to go for the kill and attack the Time Eater together. Unfortunately, they're skills and powers aren't strong enough to defeat it, leaving them weak enough to get sent to White Space. Meanwhile in White Space, Sonic is seen unconscious, but suddenly wakes up and notices that all of his friends are gone, but quickly realizes that they've become statues yet again. Speaking of statues, he quickly notices Classic Sonic being frozen in time as he rushes over to him and restores him in the nick of time. As the duo reunite once more, they quickly realize that their friends aren't the only one's who are frozen in time. For the places and enemies from their past are also scattered across White Space as their color has been sucked out, much to their surprise. Seeing how bad things got, it now comes down to Classic and Modern Sonic to team up and save their friends all around while restoring time and color from past locations in order to quickly get things back to normal with the use of their powerful speed! But what they don't know is that there are many dangerous secrets and surprises that await them and that they need to always be on their toes. One wrong move... could equal a deleterious catastrophe for the universe.
