For all those complaining about the number of carbs, note the portion sizes. AND, note all the other super healthy stuff she's eating in addition to the carbs. What you also don't see is that she probably walks a ton, living in Tokyo.Β  There's a reason Japanese people aren't typically overweight.

Everything looks so delicious. When I was living in Japan, my main complaint was the lack of vegetables in a lot of the food. Plenty of rice, some protein, but little fibre made for constant stomach aches.

The way she folded the seaweed to create a bite is revolutionary for me. New trick learned!

If my husband did a video of what I ate in a day, I'd be ashamed to have it posted here because I put it DOWN πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Egg is not raw, it's "au plat". White part is cooked and yellow part is melting. It's DELICIOUS.

Been eating these, (also in Intermittent Fasting since 20 y.o.) I worked & lived in Japan, (all together including marriage) for 26 yrs. Now retired & 75 y.o. (160cm. tall, weigh 52 kgs. & no health issue). After almost 28 yrs. in πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺstill enjoying these typical Japanese foods. I keep visiting Japan every year, except during the pandemic. To God be the glory πŸ™

As a foreigner I accidentally tried natto in Japan and it was the most terrible thing that did ever get into my mouth. Taste is so different!

My husband eats a slice of toast with cream cheese, one small orange or half ripe banana for breakfast. For lunch, it is usually 1 or 1 1/2 cup of rice with main viand ex.chicken adobo with atchara ( pickled green papaya or like chutney ) , sautΓ©ed bittermelon with shrimp and a slice of mango. For dinner..lunch leftovers plus choice of fruit that is in season or ice cream

We have amazing food mix in our family. Chinese/Swedish and as both cultures love different mix of other counties food means we eat everything. But we both like healthy food so not the worst but the best of everything. Sushi and miso soup we make. But we of cause use fresh ginger in the cooking. Then next day Mexican food. Then traditional Swedish food like Biff a LindstrΓΆm, big flat meatballs with pickled beetroot and cucumber inside served with sauce and potatoes.

I'm from the Balkans and I could eat all this in one meal ( and I need to say that I'm not fat). This would definitely not keep me full for the whole day 😁
