Contact local shelters. Some ask for leftover candy to distribute to homeless people. Sometimes it lifts peoples’ spirits.

Put 2-3 pieces in a snack zip lock bag. Refrigerate or freeze for freshness. ( Or not ) Take out a bag occasionally ( def. not every day ).

Hahah!!! I ate waaaaaaay more than 25 grams t last night, not to meantion a few alcoholic beverages. I never restricted my kids on Halloween night, they were warned about tummy aches, and that’s it. If they felt sick, they got a real life lesson! But after that, they just got a few pieces a day. Usually they gave up on it after a week or so and it got sent to my work. I know I should be healthier, but gotta have fun and go overboard once in a while!.

There are organizations that will send candy to troops. You can check the rules for food donations to local pantries to see if unbagged but wrapped candy is accepted. Save it for holiday baking/gingerbread house making. Oooor just enjoy it a bit at a time and brush your teeth really well 😉

Give it to: nurses at hospital, fire station, police station, teen center, senior center, library, any sort of place people might appreciate a few bits of candy. My sister donated her extra candy today to the senior center and library.
