My friend is 450 lbs and is diabetic and on 7 medications. He 67. Another friend died at the age of 28, she was vegan and a full time yoga instructor. She had four tumors in her stomach and stomach cancer. Sometimes no matter what you do, it’s your time to go. And sometimes no matter what you do, you’re here to stay.

Interval training is better for your heart than extensive aerobic training. It's important to reach a max heart rate occasionally. Many marathon runners die of heart attacks.

I joined a gym as a perk for joining Plan G of my healt'cay plan. I soon found the sled, load 90 pounds on it and push it 40' one way then back again. I do that 5 times, 3-4 times a week. Man is that a cardio workout. The gym also has a dry and wet sauna. I spent 30 minutes in the dry today, 6 minutes in the wet...awesome. I would not be able to take the 180* temp if not for limiting sugar, wheat, corn, rice and soybean oil for the last two yee'uz.

Aerobic exercise is anti-inflammatory but weight lifting causes inflammation. Using a sauna after weight training lowers inflammation

Had i not been into endurance training for decades, i wouldn't have been able to move 50boxes/bags of my stuff up to my new third floor apartment in two hours. It's important, IMHO.

Had diabetes type 2. Was 260 lbs. now 191, no more diabetes. But i dont do cardio. Just strength training, sauna. Eat properly and no alcohol. I hate cardio…my heart rate goes up while lifting and is regularly 145-150 in the sauna.

Rhonda I agree with everything. However did you know that a particular drug for treating type2 diabetes called Metformin has longevity qualities as a study was done to why those patients were living longer than people without ailments that said those ill free people may not have had regular exercise 👍

Cardio is old school. Infact it can be detrimental to health. What is far more beneficial in strength and conditioning exercises and HIIT training
