That's actually really cool and doesn't sound too complicated to incorporate into cat food.

As an allergist I need to look into this for my patients.

My cat demands that we try this straight from the source. He is willing to eat as many eggs as necessary to help my non-existent allergies, cuz that's the level of love my cat has for me. His willingness of sacrifice is heartwarming.

This is fantastic. My cat has recently decided he enjoys hanging with my chickens. I wasn't allowing it much before but he will absolutely be hosting chicken parties for me now lmao

Keep in mind the chickens themselves have to be exposed to cats regularly, so store bought chicken eggs won’t do much if anything. If your local farmers market sells eggs you could ask the farmer if they have cats on the property though! Or ask a neighbor if you could buy some extra eggs off of them if they have a cat (and if you have a neighbor with chickens!)

Omg so happy to hear one of my friends had a cat he did like the cat, but he was allergic so they could not let the Cat in but his siblings were fine with cats I felt bad for the cat not being allowed inside there where foxes outside! But this news is amazing !! Edited I'm so confused why people like this comment but since people did, I wish you all a wonderful day/night🙏!!

Oh my, I was never allergic to cats, but found out about 6 months ago I was to egg so I naturally stopped eating it and developed an allergy to my kitty. THANK YOU! I knoe this might not solve it all the way but my heart's been doen since she's so attached to me and I can't give her the attention I want to.

Purina pro plan is one of the brands I use for cats I’m allergic to (my cat is hypoallergenic and does not produce as much of the enzyme but my mom’s cat isn’t so I get asthma attacks from time to time), just a little heads up, it’s not cheap! So I’m still looking around for cheaper alternatives.

Im not so lucky with my cat allergy its so bad i can't eat pork anymore. Have you heard of this one, Hank? Pork–Cat syndrome was first described by Drouet et al, in 1994. It is a rare pathology, seen in patients sensitized to cat epithelium, which present symptoms suggestive of IgE-mediated hypersensitivity upon ingestion of pork meat. These symptoms range from urticaria with/without angioedema, to potentially fatal anaphylaxis. This rare syndrome is a result of a cross-reactivity of a protein of approximately 66kDa, identified as cat serum albumin (SA), which is highly homologous with porcine SA. In some patients, this cross-reactivity seems to extend to other mammals meat.
