I often wonder why we feel like this about creating a perfect work of anything really. Be it a garden in the making, making a home look lovely, buying the perfect outfit. Painting the perfect picture . This is me. I think it stems from my childhood. My dad always used to say. Take the best and leave the rest. If a jobs worth doing it’s worth doing well etc etc. I like the concept as it has trained me to make some perfect things ‘in my eyes’ but when it comes to painting I am frozen at the thought of not being good enough
