I’m currently trying to grow out my own nails, it’s quite a painful process. I’ve been using sticky tabs, they hold quite well! But they’re definitely not as strong as a poly gel would be!! Thank you so much for the information!! 🥰🥰🥰

Such a pretty colour!! Overlays are not good for nail biters, there's not enough free edge.

If only people knew the damage to their teeth. My daughter is a nail biter and it has damaged her front teeth. I mean it took years to happen but you can't grow back you teeth.

I also couldn’t stop biting my nails forever, my nail beds looked like rectangle, started doing my own extensions and the habit left. I think it’s because of differently it feels to chew on hard plastic instead of soft nails

I used to bite only my pinkie nails and doing overlay dip system stopped it. Couldn’t get a grip on the edges anymore and stopped - they grew out to be extensions eventually
I substituted one bad habit for another however + I didn’t bite the nails anymore but I’m a nail tapper on surfaces now 😅 (it’s so damn satisfying)

As a nail bitter I use Beatles gel nail glue and soft gel tips , I don’t make them too long but they have to be long enough to cover my free nail , I can only get to the skin around the edges , but with difficulty so it protects my nails underneath and puts me off bitting
