The strange thing is that when we were little, we could love ourselves just as we are. But as we grew up, we learned from parents and society/culture not to love ourselves. Now it feels like we have to go backwards and relearn what we already knew. It's a scary journey, and with Julien's lectures on YouTube, I've realized that going back isn't about changing ourselves, but about allowing ourselves to be who we are and loving ourselves as we are. Letting go of the need to control, to constantly push, force ourselves, and try to escape who we are, what we feel inside, or what we feel in our bodies, will never get us anywhere. You can't escape from yourself, and sometimes, we can let the universe hold us and guide us to where we're meant to be. All we need to do is love ourselves and allow ourselves to be who we are and just be.

Oh, yeah, for me it is hard because everytime i tried to show myself some love my mother would always call me selfish, egoistic, self centered... wow, i just got a flash of the past, fuck she destroyed me...she was toxic, narcisistic, verbally abusive and she still scares me even if she changed a little bit. Now i am the crazy one because i can not act normal infront of her...
