I have an issue with self improvement jak and it comes down to my ADHD. I struggle with this and I find remembering to do every little good habit very difficult like it goes “ok um the morning right what was in the morning oh yeah water I totally forgot to drink water first thing what if I forgot those days before?! Oh no” it’s something like that. Remembering to track my protein intake and journal gets to feel like a chore. But I do enjoy the thrill of writing down my thoughts and logging my protein so that I know what to eat more. I just am clashing between taking it easy and just being a normal kid and doing basic hygiene and video games or doing all this self improvement stuff that hits me in the face like a bag of heavy marbles.

It’s kinda hard to these days. I have people in my life that look like they are doing better than me. They are vacationing around the world like it’s nothing, and they seem to know what they want at 14 or 15 years of age. I need to learn how to stop comparing myself to them. I’m glad people like you exist as a reminder to keep trying.
