Disney won’t sell Lucas films They have many other assets to sell first. These include overseas parks cable channels and properties they don’t use. They sold the power rangers for example. They might sell the muppets. Not Lucas film I hope I’m wrong here.

Star Wars is way too integrated to sell for what they’d actually be able to get for it. Not worth trying to untangle it

The only way they are getting more than what they paid for it is if inflation makes up the difference. Either way, a prospective new owner is going to have to take all the damage Disney did to it to get the parts people actually want.
