I had a similar experience, bus was blocking and I decided to go. Moped decides he's in a serious rush and bolts out right behind the bus. I break in the roundabout so I don't hit him. Lucky nothing bad happened.

As a Biker, i'd never take that gap next to the van and go blind on to a roundabout. That is how you get taken out and i'd argue it was the bike at fault in a collision.
