Saw your thumb slide down ever so slightly to release the other half of the coin folded under your thumb. Also need to be smoother when you take the coin in your other hand that you put behind the table out of sight. That was not smooth.

First trick: This is a commonly used spring loaded trick coin. The part of the coin that looks bitten off is actually just folded behind the coin. Its spring loaded so that when he “spits the coin back” he just lets go of the back half and the spring mechanism snaps the 2 pieces of coin back together. 2nd trick: There are 2 coins here. The first coin that he used for the first trick and then the 2nd coin is hiding in a trap compartment in the commonly used trick Heineken coaster. He uses sleight of hand to palm the first coin and then when he pushes down on the glass cup, it activates the trick coaster to shoot the coin up into the glass, making it look like it just fell through the glass. Sorry guys. I love debunking magic tricks! 🎉
