Not to mention those ridges of product won’t flatten all the way leading to incurred product remaining on the natural nail until your next visit. I really wish our trade was more monitored and rigid with safety protocol just realizing 4 days after the fact.. ** I wasn’t commenting on the technique ridges but that’s a major issue too here… wish I had realized that before. This is why you buff the product into the very first layer after manicure prep and extension prep. Ridges aren’t welcome it’s a canal for uncured product in terms of if the suggestion is the natural nail plate ridges, any technician would have major issues with quality stability ; the natural nail texture should be buffed away prior to dehydration, or you’re just allowing for more of the base to produce natural oils ei extension lifting the possibility of mold, fungus, etc and a horrible experience for both client and tech and at the very least contact dermatitis on the nail plate and bed from constantly having uncured product on said mail which, I’ve heard can be yeah clue - we call them “rings of fire” 😅*

Well unfortunately as a newbie 9 months ago I was applying wayyyyyy too thick and I started noticing white lines across my nails and toes too I never associated with the gel until I looked into it a few months ago It was baddd too the tips that grew were weak too it took me a year today to grow out all the white! My nails slowly started showing the white. I did gel overlay on my natural nails they got so long like xxl coffins!! 😢 i also wasn’t using primer etc. I’ve learned so much I started a press on business!! I’m no expert but thanks to videos like yours I’m still learning!!! ❤

Why was the message longer for people with someone? It was just so straight to the point for those of us without someone.
I feel like in pile 2 it was a quick “It’s been a long wait or delays, the change is in your control (a few examples of what that can mean) and on to people with someone…” 🤷🏾♀️
There was no actual what’s next…just you’re single because of yourself pretty much. Which is wild for someone that’s been healing since 2020, clear as hell on what they want, and intentional to not repeat past patterns while waiting YEARS (going on 10 and I’ll be 34 this year) to finally meet someone that is in alignment. That just leaves me even more clueless as to whether I’m ever gonna be in alignment with someone or just continue to only focus on myself and career until I honestly just give up on it. So much for becoming a mom 🤷🏾

What about w rubber base coat?
Should that be applied thicker??
With rubber base coat, I’m used to applying a thin slip layer and then a thicker layer w a side-to-side motion mostly down the middle of the nail (potentially turning the nail upside down to re-center it if need be, or using a thinner brush to bring closer to the side walls).
Is that correct?
Or should rubber base coat be applied like this also?
Help!

I saw a Ukrainian nail tech apply a very thin layer of base, but instead of painting it on normally she really rubbed it in with the bristles. Like back and forth and side to side. Since I started doing that I have zero lifting ever! 💅
