Only an American would call a missile “atacm” and pronounce it Attack em!

“Junk drawer” Actually means these missiles are at or beyond manufactures end-of-life date and were going to be discarded, this actually means that sending them doesn’t add additional costs when you’re replacing them. It actually might save some money because decommissioning them can be quite costly. So this is a win-win Ukraine gets great long-range missiles and the US gets rid of them at the lowest possible cost.

Imagine being able to get these kind of video updates in 1944 during WW2…we live in a crazy world.

Fun fact: In the first strike in which ATACMS was used, the specific missiles used were ~27 years old Keeping those old and relatively outdated missiles in a functional state cost more than just sending them to Ukraine

WSJ please set slow talkers at 1.5x speed for shorts, thanks. This style of content is meant to be fast paced and you get to fit more info since there's a duration limit.

Sorry to bring the public reality, Ukraine has already lost this war. It's lost months ago when the so called 'counter-offense' failed within weeks, not months, failed within weeks. It's time for Ukraine to beg for peace before more Ukranian and also Russian lives are lost.

The first strike was used against an airfield in Crimea where russian helicopters frequently launched sorties to attack the Ukrainians on the and near the front line. 8 aircraft, including a KA52 were destroyed. Russia will now have to us an airbase m7ch further away, increasing the time it takes air support to arrive as well as fuel used and risk of encountering AA fire.

This policy of incrementally giving Ukraine better weapons will go down as a failure. This policy prolonged the conflct and allowed Russia to adapt.
