If this car had spent its life in Southern California, it might very well still be on the road. My 68 Mustang has and its still in beautiful condition.

Here's a way to tell its a 67'. The shocks on the rear are on the same side of the axle where as a 68' they are staggered.

The turn lamps below the bumper were ONLY an RS detail. Chrome bezel or not.

Bought my first car in 1982 for $450, 69 SS 350 Camaro. Second car in 1987, was one of these, for $1,200. Inflation and all.

That's why I prefer a '67 442. It either is or it isn't.

In 1976 I bought an original mint condition 68 Camaro SS 350, M21, 12 Bolt car for $1700.. I drove it cross country for 4 years working construction coast to coast before I sold it in Cheyenne and bought a new Cadillac Coupe DeVille. A year later it pulls up beside me at a red light in Denver still looking good.. πŸ₯ƒπŸ˜Ž

My Mom, (then myself), owned a '67RS(327), but it was a convertible... She let my drive it to California for summer vacation 2 weeks after I got my license... GOOD TIMES! lol.

I'm utterly amazed that people leave cars like this out in the weather, rotting away. 😳😳🀯🀯

Yes, looks like a real rs. Also the backup lights are separate below bumper. The code 3SL I believe the L is rally sport. Been a long time since I looked at mine. You can decode the cowl tag easily, information all over the web. Opening the door or looking in the window would be a good indication if it is manual or automatic, lol. I don't believe there is a way to tell which HP 327 it is unless you look at the motor closer. Unfortunately for my 67 rs someone took the heads, intake and transmission off and put them onto a 64 truck 283. Thought it was the 327 until I checked engine block, they look so similar. Maybe someone blew up the 327 and replaced it with a 283 and put the heads, intake etc from 327 on it and threw it back in??? πŸ€”

I saw a stock 350 in a 68 Camaro last week and it looked tiny compared to todays built up engines.
