This guy should have at least 10M subscibers not 0.5m... the quality of his production is better than some TV channels....

I think the best analogy I heard was the galaxies are like raisins in bread. As the bread is baked, the distance between the raisins expand.

Space is expanding faster than light speed, but some galaxies are close enough to be gravitationally attracted to each other 🤯

Imagine a glass full of water being stirred and then you put in a spoon of glitter. . Each galaxy is a piece of glitter. . . . The stirring was the words "Let there be light". . . . Imagine that. . . . .

When space stretches it does not get thinner it only makes more of itself. Galaxies are not just a super black hole surrounded by matter that makes the stars and planets. It is also surrounded by what we call dark matter which is a super massive collection of quantum particles that then probably keeps the space surrounding galaxies from creating itself. But in a pure vacuum of space between the galaxies, space can create an infinite supply of itself. Which then leads to the galaxies drifting from each other

So this is what they mean when they say nothing can move faster than light. Nothing is labeled as a "thing" and it moves faster than light.

Your long form videos are one of the finest things on YouTube. They're spectacularly good. Your shorts are just teasers without a follow on main event. I find myself wandering YouTube in search of answers to all the questions you left open. The excitement when I'm notified of new SEA content turns into instant disapointment when I see it is another short.

Ooh. "Reasons unknown." Now that's the sort of hook that grabs the attention of me, the viewer.

They, like the rest of us, have had enough of the human race and want to be as far away from it as possible.

And on that day, what a grand unification it will be! A gargantuan galaxy exploding with stars! Giving entropy one last middle finger!

"empty space in the universe grows..." a very apt statement explaining why stupid people seem to be increasing in number...

You know what's awesome, technically andromeda and the milky way are already colliding. The halo's both galaxies are already touching. The denser parts of the galaxies containing the starsystems will start intersecting in about 4 to 4,5 billion years. Actual collissions between starsystems during this intersection/merger will be exceedingly rare though, people tend to majorly underestimate the size of the gaps between said starsystems.
