That’s how it is here in Utah, a lot of places are closed on Sundays.

That's one thing I didn't like growing up in Switzerland. It wasn't just the Sundays being closed, which one can get used to it, but it's also big grocery stores closing by 7pm in the evening every day. (in the 90s I think it was still by 6pm.) Sometimes you come home late from work and you can't even shop for food, so you either have to shop during lunch break, or buy a week worth of grocery once and you are done.

I wish they'd bring that back in,, here In Australia ,🇭🇲 years ago 90% of shops closed at 12 noon Saturday, and re opened Monday morning, the only things open were servos( or gas stations as you may know them as), restaurants and the local corner stores etc, people had family time back th

In France, many shops are closed on MONDAY. Better double-check.

I am old enough to remember when most things were closed on Sunday everywhere, sadly we have lost the respect for most faiths and allowing people family time to rest.
