Reason: The face is really pretty, but the reason why you think ut looks bad is because of the body portions. You need to understand how big the shoulders are and how they will go up and down. The shoulders are too small and also they are too stiff(you would need to make them a bit droopy down so they look realistic to the body’s anatomy). Also, the face too. The shape could be too big or too small, depending on how big the shoulders are and how far the person you want them to be away from the camera(where the drawing is shown in a certain angle, this one is I think is a back shot). So make sure you lay out the places the parts of the face are going and the angle, because when you analyze reference photos that are like this, you see how the face changes because of where it is(the cheekbones show more, the nose is seen more like the structure, the eyes can change shape at certain places depending the angle, the jawline, and the lips). Also, make sure the head isn’t turned so far to the point their body are similar to an owl’s. The neck can only move at a certain place, so the character would have to have their head turned more to where they would face normally, I prefer laying out the shape of the head and adding a line to where they would have their facial features at, but make sure you use them. I hope this helped, I recommend looking at tutorials from popular art channels, I watch SamDoesArt(he helps a lot for beginners) and Mohammed Agbadi. They both give great tips for starting or creating art.
Also, play around with backgrounds! Your drawing can look very dull because of the lack of background. It’s hard but it’s worth practicing to make your drawings pop more! Play around with colors and shapes to make your drawings stick out more.

your proportions are definetely unique 😅 the facial features are large compared to the head, try making the head larger or the features smaller (maybe practice drawing heads at different angles that will suit your art style better); also try not to rush into rendering, you should finish the full sketch and lay down colors first before that

heres a tip: to make sure your proportions are right, flip your canvas! idk what it does but its like a new pair of eyes to look at your drawing because when your sitting there drawing, your eyes get used to the art and they cant figure out whats wrong. Keep trying over and over again! Good job
