Nosebleeds aren't usually serious. However, frequent or heavy nosebleeds may indicate more serious health problems, such as high blood pressure or a blood clotting disorder, and should be checked. Excessive bleeding over a prolonged period of time can also lead to further problems such as anaemia.

As a child elementary school, I periodically had nose bleeds. Cold dry air in the winter. Or I am wondering too possibly growing may contribute to it. Now on a anticoagulant, tinged most always when blowing. Thanks Bleeding in general I have had may episodes of myxedema poor management. Blood dyscrasia with hypothyroidism. Also perimenopausal thyroidectomy x 2 halved first half with a period 30 cc in drain post op. 2nd half no period 5cc in the drain. Thanks

I mean, 80% of my nose bleeds were from getting punched in the face.

When I was a child I got nosebleeds a lot; then I got my tonsils and adenoids out and they stopped😳 Now I only get one if the winter air is super dry.

It's really dry where we are right now and my partner was having nose bleeds almost daily, which was concerning. We got a humidifier, and while unfortunately it only brought the humidity up into the low 20s it's was enough that it's stopped his nose bleeds. (We have humidistats so that's how I know what our humidity is). tldr: try a humidifier if dry air is causing you frequent nose bleeds, helped my partner.

It also when you fall in a house you have something broke in your nose you have nose blood 🩸 to stop the bleeding you can get a wet tissue and put in your nose or go to a hospital or go to a shop and get some medicine for the nose they have the spray in they have medicine if you don’t put every day you get surgery it will stop for some time and when it stops it means that your nose got no more bleeding I hope it’s working ❤❤❤

Is it true that it may be connected to a heart condition? 🤔

When I was about 8-12 years old I used to have nosebleeds every other day, lots of them during the night. My parents would say that it was due to me having longer than normal fingernails and picking my nose. After I disproved their theory by tying my hands for a week and still got nosebleeds they instead started blaming it on dry nose, so the air was making my blood vessels pop, but why? What could've caused the dryness? At 17 I got an X-ray and my septum was severely deviated from an instance where I broke my nose but only on the inside (strangely), the occasion lined up chronologically with the start of the nosebleeds but I never really connected the dots. I guess the Kiesselbach's plexus or the anterior ends of the ethmoid arteries were trying to do anastomosis around the deviation.

When I was growing up I had frequent and really strong nose bleeds, lasting 15-20 minutes. I remember one occasion when it took more than 30 minutes to stop and my mom was starting to get a little unsettled. It was bad enough for my doctor to consider obliteration (is that what it's called in English? It's a medical procedure which stops blood from flowing through the particular veins that tend to bleed often). The frequent nose bleeds occured from age 6 to 14. As I was kind of a late bloomer and was yet to have my first period when all the other girls of my class had already had theirs my friends and I used to joke that I lost the blood rather through the nose than the vagina. ^^ Curiously, the nose bleeds stopped shortly before I got my first period. Since then I've only had a couple of negligible nose bleeds and they occured in winter with dry air and while having a cold.
