the amount of times I've dropped my phone on my face while scrolling in bed disagrees 😂

This is how I try to explain muscle stiffness and tension pain in hypermobility/my hyper mobile EDS; a lot of people don’t understand why I can’t get close to touching my toes sometimes (like when sitting for a long time, or before a warm-up in general) but can put my hand flat on the floor, elbows bent, other times. I’ve even been accused of faking it!

I've always been very inflexible since I was a child, even when I've done lots of exercise, I've also always had very bad posture. When I try to stretch my head and neck muscles to improve posture I get severe migraine for days. Is this the reason why I get so much pain? How do I relax the muscles before stretching? I have tried many different stretches over the years, all result in the same.

Excellent. A friend of mine trained with the same concept. Well, unfortunately it did not work well hanging on a rock over the canyon. R.I.P.

Oh. Is that why I can't relax my hip flexors in the butterfly pose? What's the danger, though?

Explains why I was swimming, thinking "mache another round", then stood up on the bank and was like "nope, that would have been overkill"

I understand that following this way of thinking, I should strengthen the adductors to get a side split?
