This is probably bad. The best way would be to get Genndy Tartakovsky, director of Primal, to make an animated movie, keeping Link mostly silent. Keeping Link as a silent protagonist can work in live action, especially if casting a talented lookalike stunt actor, directed by the likes of stunt directors like those who did John Wick, and a Zelda movie that doesnt rely on lazy exposition dialogue would be a welcome break, but Avi Arad produces very dialogue heavy films.

You’re never gonna get 40-50 hours worth of story telling from a game down into a 2.5 hour movie so I hope the movie is an original story

I'm so freaking excited for this. I want to see a teaser where they show the movie title fade in while playing a fully orchestral version of the title screen music of A Link To The Past. Ideally I think the story should probably have it's basis in the most popular of the games, but be mostly it's own thing. Since Zelda doesn't have much continuity across all games, I think the movie should amalgamize the stories and themes of the best ones.

Knowing what I know of Miyamoto it's probably going to be an original Legend of Zelda story similar to the games.

With the success of both the Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Brothers films, getting a Zelda film is exciting, plus as we saw with the Mario movie, Nintendo understands to focus on the fan base and just make a fun, entertaining film.

This COULD be cool, assuming they don’t make Zelda a girl boss and Link into Linkle as her lesbian lover. Ganon will of course be played by a white male, cuz all villains in movies now are white males.

Im still waiting on a dark PG-13 sci-fi heavy metal film version of Metroid. With its atmospheric music its known for but a little metal in it by the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, and the mighty Overkill from New Jersey.

Avi Arad brought us a lot of bangers and a lot of misses like Blade, Spider-Man 2, Elektra and Morbius. Nintendo is gonna have to wrangle everyone involved if they want this to succeed.
