So that was 20 years ago. I think it would have further come down now to much less than 8 seconds given that people have unlimited options to choose from at their fingertips.
BTW, thanks a lot for your videos. I recently discovered your channel and watch your older as well as new videos. I have already learnt a great deal from your videos. I am not even a designer but I plan to learn and hopefully get to a certain level of proficiency.

Just wanted to quickly say "thanks" - both for the info you're providing, as well as for the intention behind it. It's rare to find a "content creator" around nowadays that doesn't try to simply entertain the presumably-always-bored target audience with whatever they emotionally respond to the most. Your bits and pieces of advice are probably some of the most genuine ones out there.
