I actually experienced this earlier this month. My son caught croup and was in respiratory failure for about 5 or so is minutes and I was terrified was he was just laying there looking up at the ceiling and he had no ability to move any parts of his body to tell us he couldn't breath. Terrified, we called an ambulance and got him the help he needed, but I wish to never see it again I'll admit that. π
