In episode 104 of the Huberman Lab podcast, Jocko Willink (‪@JockoPodcastOfficial‬) explains a valuable tool he gleaned from during his time in military special operations in which taking a step back and broadening one’s visual perspective allows for broadening of mental perspective, thereby the unveiling of novel solutions to what would otherwise be intractable problems.

Beautiful: the “problem” is often a symptom. Kind of like a guide in to shift elsewhere, a “call to action”. Similar to the idea of dry needling the piriformis, in an attempt to rid knee pain, when the various factors that are leading to the knee pain are breathing mechanics and gut microbiome imbalance.

There are no problems, only circumstances and your interpretation of them. Now you can step back by changing the circumstances, or your interpretations of the circumstances, or as he says, neither.

Isn't it easier to rise above it or ignore it sometime doing that you evade being manipulated especially if they want to sabotage you or frame you
