A dark galaxy and a dark matter galaxy are two very different things.

I prefer the more exotic explanation. The galaxy is controlled by a Type 3 civilization so a lot of its energy is consumed rather than being radiated into the cosmos for use to observe. As a result it appears dimmer. The lack of stars can be credited to megastructures shadowing their existence, meaning the stars are there but 100% of their energy is being harnessed, so from a long distance they practically don't exist.

The reality is, we actually have no certain idea how old the universe is, or how large it is. The only thing certain no one alive today will travel further than Mars. It's not likely humans will ever be able to travel outside our solar system.

I have doubts of this short. The discovery of dark matter would be huge news.Dark matter is impossibly difficult to observe and we only believe must exist because how we measure the universe we can't account for most of its matter. I need to look this up now, I don't think I would miss the announcement of dark matter observed.

I think this could be a hint to that a parallel universe and this universe are inside each other. Imagine we live in a dualistic world, because one universe tangents with another and the product is our world

In a few years it'll be something completely different. Just like the big bang.

Pretty sure from watching him explain this that the scientists did not mean Dark Matter as we do no way of defining what that actually is..

Great question. We can see hydrogen from trillions of light years away. Asking to create a nano bot how ever is too much.

Wow we found a galaxy that should not form due to "dark matter" not being compatible with current laws of physics. Smh

What if those stars that died out didnt, but actually all had been dyson sphered out instead?

The galaxy might be dark to us, but for sure it interacts with the matter somehow and have gravity, because it wouldn't form a galaxy. This might lead to some game changing discoveries in physics 🍿
