As a certified brush licker of 30 years - you'll be ok. Also, if you're using a mug for your paint water, get some adhesive velcro and put the bristly part all around the rim. You'll be reminded it's the wrong mug by the texture =)

I've done it twice and well... I'm here. When I paint with acrylics I put a line of scotch tape across the center of the glass so it reminds me to not drink it. No more worries ☺

Depending on the type of acrylic paint you’re using and the pigment used in them, somewhere between not worried at all or slightly worried if you have an immune condition or sensitivity. Some of my paints that use things like cadmium I like to wear gloves where as I’d gargle crayola acrylics for a free lunch.

i looked it up for you, you're safe. acrylic paints are nontoxic- worst pain you'll feel is a stomachache, but no vommiting thankfully.

Fine arts teacher here! A sip is fine, as long as the water isn't nasty from age. Totally different if you drank some solvent from oil paints. That stuff smells like Nope, so we'd need to have a little talk

you'll be fine as long as it wasn't a chemical solvent you used for cleaning. every artist has drank paint water before. it makes you stronger. or weirder. or both?

as someone who had ate and drank various art supplies and other inedible thing , i think you should be fine !! small sips arent anything dangerous , especially because acrylic paint isnt super toxic + its watered down !
