Saying that cocoa naturally has high levels of heavy metals makes it seem like all cocoa does, which is not true. Cocoa only contains heavy metals when the SOIL in which it is planted also has it (generally soil from volcanic regions). For example, in Brazil, NONE of the species contain heavy metals.
