I carry a sketchbook and pencil in every bag I use so that I have the possibility to draw whenever I'm out.

I made myself get into the habit of doing one art thing a day, usually at last a sketch, no matter how long, so from a few minutes to an hour or more. Now it comes naturally as good habits are as easy to get into when you stop and think of it that way, as bad habits. You can also do that for many things. I like to walk everyday, garden (I grow my own food) play an instrument etc

Thank you! I’m just starting to draw and quite often just look at my drawing pad. I’ve been watching your videos for less than a week and have learned so much but your shorts are really inspiring. I can see that I need to buy a smaller sketch book that will fit in my purse though.😊

Set a timer; keep it simple, short and sustainable until it's a well established habit.
