I think a DS9 sequel series is more justified than a TNG one because it ended with Sisko leaving his family for who knows what with the prophets, and it would be nice to see how Jake and Kassidy handled that, and then how they handle Sisko coming back after presumably decades. What would the baby, whose first meeting with their father would be as a teen or young adult, do in response to a stranger showing up out of nowhere and trying to bond with them?
