So the continents are Eurasia, North America, South America, Africa, Somalia, India, Australia, Philipines, Panama and Arabia.

If you ask me there are two continents. The Americas (which together make up just one continent) and Afroeurasia. Australia is a giant island and Antarctica is literally just an archipelago underneath a sheet of ice. You could make the tectonic plate argument but that would make South Asia, The Caribbean, Vancouver Island, The Pacific Ocean, and East Africa all continents as well.

If we assume Continents (continuing land mass) as not touching water, there are 4: America (North and South), Afro-Eurasia (Africa, Europe and Asia), Australia and Antarctica

In fact, this can be proven by, scientific research of population ancestry. Some populations of Central Asia, Middle East and India (of particularly Northern India), have a lot more genetic affinity with European and Mediterranean population than you might've think, even though the culture differ somewhat to Europe. Some may have a Mongolian ancestry too, it is a result of centuries of population flow, trades and contacts, of which the Mongol Empire is a great testament of.
