I think that lady was trying a trend I saw a few years ago where people would put sunscreen only where they would put highlighter or everywhere except where they would put contour, in hopes of getting a "semi-permanent" contour because they'd tan in the uncovered parts. However, in every case I saw, it turned out horribly because there would be a harsh line between the sunscreened sections and the uncovered sections. Plus, some women got sunburns in the uncovered sections, making it look even worse.

So true Dr Dray, back in the 90's I used to tan with baby oil and Coca Cola to get the best caramel tan 😂 and now I'm paying all that with melasma around my cheeks 😢 At least no skin cancer. Now I'm all about that Sunscreen and subscribe

Some people will do anything for attention 🙄 Just do what Dr. Dray says “sunscreen and subscribe” and your skin will thank you

Dr. Dray, your common sense approach is always an excellent reminder to all of us.

I was at the lake with my mother last week and there was a woman with a thick layer of sunscreen on her face that she looked like she had white paint on her face and everywhere else nothing just tan. It was like all the sunscreen she had to put on her body, she putted it on her face.

I agree with you on this. I used to have a neighbor when I rented. She made it a weekly thing to go to the tanning salon. I warned her that it was bad & all she said was, “ I remember to always moisturize” which isn’t the point. 🙄 Such people learn the hard way, I guess

Hi, I'm an 18-year-old girl. I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis six months ago, and the dermatologists I've been to just don't help me. I have seborrheic dermatitis, mainly on the sides of my nose, and my doctor brought me an ointment that just doesn't help with Hydrogistan cream. Do you have a recommendation for treating seborrheic dermatitis?

What would you recommend to fade dark spots/melasma?

I’m here to say if you’re not wearing sunscreen you WILL regret it! Maybe not at the moment or in a few years.. However, I guarantee .. you will be sorry when you are older and trying to erase all of the damage it caused. Just use a bronzer

Dr dray! I have crazy sensitive skin and I've started using adapalene 0.1% every other night. It's been a week and I barely have any side effects. My skin is slightly tight and slightly sensitized but nothing like what I was expecting. Is this a sign that my adapalene is potentially unstable/formula has been compromised, or am I just lucky?
