I just want to say thank you, truly, for what you do. I started following you about a week ago and today is the first day I’ve picked up a bee. I had a terrible experience getting stung by a whole nest of yellow jackets as a kid, because I didn’t know they nested underground and they swarmed me when I stepped on them on accident. I have feared every kind of bee, yellow jacket, wasp, flying or stinging insect ever since.
Today there was a carpenter bee on my deck unable to fly, trying to crawl up my tables and planters to get to my flowers. It kept falling, and I was able to offer it my hand a couple different times when it ended up on the ground, and I was able to safely place it in one of my planters. I haven’t touched a bee or anything similar since I was that young seven year old getting stung all over… I am now 31 and you have really helped me. Thank you.
