That is one of the most beautiful essay l have heard in a while! I feel that l have suppressing my own ember mostly of excuses like "l am too old" or " l have to finish my work before l start having fun with everything" But one thing has even stayed : my ember never went out at all,even when l had some downtime. I think it's time l kindle my ember and enjoy my life for what it is. :3

I think perfectionism leads to analysis paralysis. Embrace imperfections and go with the flow. You can make those imperfections part of your art style. Then those mistakes aren't mistakes, because they were intentional. Therefore, it will be perfect... Your own style of perfect. 😊

The thing that attracts me to urban sketching is that perfection is not required. So I can get on with enjoying what I'm doing without having to worry that it is not perfect.
