When i was a semi pro athlete. I did no more than 6 hours high intensity. Recovery is just as important. She is talking shit.

I think it’s safe to completely disregard this advice. First off. She doesn’t even look like she works out 10 hours a week. Second, that’s 2 hour workouts five days per week. That is completely unnecessary.

Not a doc but 80% vigorous sounds way over the top for many and likely not a good idea at some point. For example, I'm 78. Decided to dial up the intensity. Caused AFib event on 2 occasions. Be careful

This week I “trained” for 9.4 hours. Mostly hiking up and down a mountain path with a 15 pound pack. Typically 3.4 miles, 800 vertical feet. .72 zone 1, .1 zone 2, .12 zone 3, .02 zone 4, .02 zone 5, max HR 166, VO2 max 37, age 65: works for me

Less than 10 hours a week? So essentially 1.5 hours per day? Yes of course, because none of us have day jobs, other hobbies or commitments and so on. JFC the average person isn't a casual olympic athlete on the side.

"If you are training less than 10hrs per week", lol, you mean like 97% of the population? I workout 90 to 100 min per day for 5 days a week, for sure less than 10hrs. People I know think I am crazy for working out that much and am in great shape. I am wondering who she is talking to. I think she is using girl math.
