Next time, can you do more of a close-up on the product couldn’t see it. Mine stain turned out blotchy where I use the wood filler so I’m Sanding it back off and see if I can try and fix it.

I’m wondering now if it would benefit the piece to use the wood filler on the whole board and not just in the holes? You would probably have to do every piece that way but it could work I think. The homemade version being the best option for this as it would probably be the cheapest. I love experimenting with this kind of thing too just for the purpose of figuring out what would work best. I think there has to be more options. Something I’m going to drive myself crazy thinking about now...lol.
