Am excited to hear from you live this Sunday, Dr. Hansen. What’s a good long-term substitute for muscular & joint pain relievers since over-the-counter & prescription meds have side effects? They also don’t nail the pain caused by inflammation. Thanks for your valuable information.

I use the term Time Restricted Feeding TRE, as my daily 4-hour eating window. And the term IF, for 24-72 hour fasting.

Thanks Dr. Mike, I am 72 and have been not eating at night going between 14 and 16 hrs. between meals. I feel good but weight is coming off fast. I have a small frame by birth and am 6'2" and 150, but feel good but do worry a bit about muscle loss I don't have much to lose.

Regarding cardiovascular health and LDL cholesterol, if LDL-C levels are a little high, is it worth doing blood work that discriminates between LDL-A & LDL-B, to know if the small dense particles are really an issue? Or just go with the triglyceride & HDL numbers as an indicator of health?

Hi Dr. Hansen, I have 2 meals a day. I tend to a big breakfast fruits with sugar free cereal at 8am I feel great at lunch and little tired at 4pm. I eat sort of healthy dinner at 8pm.I sleep at 11pm. Do I still get health benefits from intermittent fasting? Thanks
