People who by no fault of their own, especially 55+, are the fastest group of homeless.
Greedy landlords and some who were stiffed by rules during COVID, that renters could cease rent payments, have raised rents beyond many retirees income.
Those landlirds should have just been paid back rent, then agree not to stick it to the vulnerable.

The animal instinct will always remain within us. However creating ancient Gods was a pretty good way for powerful and intelligent men to introduce a policing of our minds before real Police were invented. Egyptian, Pagan, Jewish, Greek, Roman, Christian, Moslem morality is almost as deep set as the animal instinct while Enlightenment and Scientific thinking just adds to the mix.

You know what gets me is that the knowledge that you need regardless of all the stupid computers in the world you can't get the knowledge that you get from the elderly. Unless you just had horrid hard parents most people want to take care of their parents even difficult parents. I think that is because God puts that in US.

Yes morality can exist without a god. It’s called doing stuff that has a positive net benefit rather than a negative one. People live better by each others happiness and we’ve learned that collaboration works better for everyone involved.
