According to BBC and other sources, he's eligible for parole next year, which is absurd. He should serve a minimum of 66 yrs. Let me explain how I came up with that number. The average life expectancy of a woman in the UK is 81 years. Since she was 15 yrs old when she was murdered thar means he deprived her of roughly 66 yrs. If I was his judge I'd also tack on another 20 yrs for all the pain and heartache that he caused her friends and family, consecutively of course.
