If they are disrupting others from going to class/getting to work/generally being violent, or breaking the law in anyway, then 100% they deserved to be disciplined for their unreasonable behavior.
I donāt see how this is even an issue of debate. There are many ways to be heard, many ways to show support, many outlets for discourse that doesnāt involve disruption and disrespectful behavior thatās akin to primates shouting at rocks.
