I know men probably dont watch dr dray but if you are a man who is experiencing MPB or you are a woman who struggles with hair loss it is significantly more effective when used alongside ketoconezole shampoo (2 to 3 times per week) and micro-needling the scalp on days you are not using minoxidil or ketoconozole (the active ingredients can be absorbed by the blood stream if the ketoconazole and minoxidil is used too close to or at the same time as microneedling which is problematic this is why they need to be used on different days.
Also another thing which might be effective for MPB is oral castor oil although i havent looked into this two much and am not fully sure if it efficacious but derik from mpmd has a video on the use of oral castor oil for MPB. He also has videos on the combo of micro needling plus ketoconazole and minoxidil.
It is also great for men who want a beard but struggle to grow a full beard. I really dont like beards but if you do want a beard it does work. But i think ketokonazole applied to the face can acctually hinder beard growth when applied to the face as it is an antiandrogen but i am not 100% sure if it does hinder facial hair growth. Btw i am not a dermatologist or a medical professional.

My daughter has been using 5% Rogaine for 20+ years as part of a treatment for a medical condition. The user is instructed to wash their hands with soap after applying it and any area of skin where the Rogaine dripped onto, e.g. forehead. I wouldn't use it for eyebrows, but that's just my opinion based on my experience with it.

My eyebrows got super sparse (not from plucking) and it turned out to be an iodine deficiency. I started taking daily iodine drops and they grew back! Itโs worth having your levels checked.
