I remember when I got engaged, everyone asked when we were getting married. Got married, everyone asked when we were going to have a baby. Had one, then they all asked when we were having another. Hate to break it to you but the questions don’t stop. 🤭
Seriously though, some people have a hard time initiating conversation so if they know you just got engaged, they know that’s something you’d probably like to talk about and it gives them a conversation to have with you.

My wife and I weren't that fortunate, so we just went to the court house this last November to get married. Then we will do something for our big families later. It was for us and no one was helping for an outrageous bill for the wedding reception.

My advice is just to skip the big, crazy, expensive, stressful wedding and get married in a private ceremony at a courthouse/small chapel then go on a badass honeymoon with your new husband/wife. That's what my husband and i did 5 years ago, and it was the best decision ever. 😂
