I haven't studied chemistry in a while but if I'm not mistaken isn't that when the particles move is because of an abundance of energy being present in the atoms. And energy releases heat. Hence why you get slightly hotter after a heavy meal because you ingested a ton of energy.

Cold is the concept of slower moving particles. So when external particles not inside your body are moving slower than the ones inside your body, it’s considered cold
