Edit: OK! since there is SO MUCH controversy about me owning a pug, let me clear some things up. No, I don't think it's fair pugs have to live their whole lives with breathing problems but I need everyone to understand that he is a rescue, his original owners had abandoned him after a stroke, and my friend took him in but her other dog didn't like him and kept trying to nip his neck, so FOR THE DOG'S SAFETY, we took him in.

My cat was 16, and was already very weak and having strokes. One morning, I woke up to her laying on the cold floor in my room with her pee everywhere. My mom took care of her, but when I returned home from school, I found out she passed away during lunch. She took one last breath, and left. I feel so guilty since if I woke up sooner, i couldāve warmed her up and maybe made her comfortable.

For people who are confused/want to know what theyāre talking about, but they donāt know itās because normally dogs and cats though get to live very long and when they get to those type of ages itās basically the kind of oldest age they canāt get anything they do get to that age they might not have very long to live, but if they are still alive and you feel like you see your pet at that age sleeping a bit too comfortably. Maybe you should check to see if theyāre still breathingš

We recently lost our cat of six years and it was weird as hell because it came out of nowhere. Apparently, he genetically had kidney failure and to make matters worse. There was a tumor that was pushing back on his heart and stomach, and he couldnāt really eat much I really wish he couldāve lived longer, but we, didnāt want him to suffer
