Sometimes its not so blatant. I had my first experience when i was 13 and it was horrifying. My eyes were open. I could see something out the corner of my eye standing there. I was screaming but all that could come out was a gurgling cry. There are those. And then theres the ones where you dont even know you were in an episode until you’ve been woken up. I had one a couple days ago bc i was having a nightmare and i kept my eyes closed, was screaming in my dream but wasn’t crying or making noise irl, could hear my bf and everything else happening, and then my bf woke me up bc i wasnt sleeping normal (idk what that means but anyway)
