My wife and I are taking Zin Zino, which involves a blood sample test to see if it is effective after four months.

My go-to is Nordic Naturals Arctic Cod Liver Oil. It's in triglyceride form, and is surprisingly tasty.

Metagenics is very expensive. How do I tell if it is in triglyceride form?

After subscribing to Consumer Labs I felt comfortable getting Costco's fish oil. Seems to have worked well for me the past year. I take 4 twice a day to get 2000mg combined EPA/DHA a day.

I sometimes eat fish so I don't buy oil.

My understanding is the krill oil is superior as it includes Astaxanthin, a very powerful antioxidant, that helps to protect the fragile DHA and EPA molecules from oxidising. The Astaxanthin is what gives it the red colour.

Just use algae based omega 3, after all this is where the fish gets its fats, but without the steps in between and no harmful metals :)

Xtend-Life's Omega 3 / QH Premium CoQ10 is my go to (no, I don't get a cut, but I dare anyone to find a better fish oil product). Unfortunately a lot of fish nowadays are contaminated with artery-clogging microplastics. Make sure you clean out the fish's digestive tract to reduce your microplastics exposure if you're preparing the fish yourself.
