No one has found aliens yet, but could the issue be that we're looking in the wrong places? NASA, astronomers, and scientists are mostly convinced aliens exist but perhaps we need to reframe our ideas on where we think they could be hiding.

You're assuming that all aliens require the same atmospheric conditions as humans. Maybe you're looking in the wrong places

Why are we looking for life based on our preconceived notions of what is required . We just keep doing that thing we did when we once thought we were the center of the universe. šŸ˜’

"If aliens exist" If they didn't, then we wouldn't either. It is essentially mathematically impossible for us to be the only example of life. Discovering alien life is just a matter of time & to over simplify, "resolution."

Who said aliens need the same things we humans need?

Still fucking amazes me that they are able to have so much detail of planets far away.

Does that mean we are hiding on Earth? Aliens are not hiding if you know where they are!!! Imagination is a wondrous thing.

ā€œWithin only 40 light years of usā€.. I think people may struggle perceiving how far away this is.. think about it - light travels almost infinitely fast in the blink of an eye. We cannot even grasp how far light can travel in a day, let alone 40 years. We need to quit pretending we know anything about whatā€™s out there

Stop looking for Earth like planets in orbit around those stars and start looking for them in orbit around gas giants in orbit around those stars. That way the planet is not tidally locked to the star

We can't rule out alien life in our own solar system. Alien bacteria could exist on Mars, within a commet or an asteroid and sophisticated life could exist with the waters of Europa.

The temperature gradient there should create some crazy wind

terminator zonešŸ˜‚?? it's usually called the goldilocks zone aka habitable zone. but that doesn't mean that if a planet is in that zone that it's habitable. Mars is in our habitable zone.. I wouldn't want to live ther

Ancient societies spoke of our ancestors coming from 3 major star systems: Pleiades, Mintaka, Sirius B. This is prevalent throughout history. Civilizations separated by vast distances over the course of centuries all have a similar origin story & where we come from. Our best bet is to start looking in those places

If aliens exist? of course they do exist, the thought of only this planet with intelligent life is a big let down for the universe, we can't even live in peace with each other, imagine what we would do to aliens.

I would never count out aliens. Remember, they are the ones that invented the carry in the backpack 3-story tent equipped with 8 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, full system heating & cooling, refrigerator in every bedroom, as well as a backyard Olympic sized swimming pool as the option!

Extremophiles aside, once we rewatch War of the Worlds we'll realize that going to a planet with life would be like moving to a WuHan bio "Hot Zone." A planet with resources but no atmosphere would be far less dangerous.

But whose to say that life exists based on our assumptions and conditions?

See, I have this ever present thought. The mistake that we keep making is that we base all of our understanding off of Earth... The universe is not filled with Earths, and this is evident, meaning the likelihood of life mimicking or working the same way is neigh impossible. If there is other life, we're not looking at but the ONE idea of life we're familiar with. As such, we're absolutely looking for a needle in a haystack while absolutely ignoring all of the eggs, insects, etc within that hay because we're nearly completely blinded by our own limited knowledge.

Human think alien need to be something similar like us human or animals but we need to say us a question. Maybe their are not just our form? I think aliens can be even bacterial organisms . It say the life come from oceans and evolved to what we have now . Is not obligated the life to come from same things like our planet ,maybe they evolved different

Start looking deep sea on Earth, or might that actually reveal things 7 billion humans need not know ?
