Honestly, philosophizing is a great deterrant to self discovery - useful for guidelines and sense of security, but itâs not what will decide whether you choose to engage with yourself or back out.

the shadow is the gateway to wisdom, but only if you can recognize it for what it is. in this sense it is not only the curse but the cure as well, the key that opens the door to your inner growth and maturity. in simplest terms it is the aspect of your psyche that processes pain, another gift which can lead to further wisdom of self. if you've ever read or watched Naruto it depicts this concept well in the "Waterfalls of Truth" (chapters 492-495, episodes 244-245).

As I started out on my journey, I thought The Shadow was all dark and negative. But as I continued on I discovered that is not the case. My experience has been about balance. Canât have darkness without light. This work is so hard. But I gotta be honest. It keeps my life interesting.
